DMPTool ('the tool', 'the system') is a tool used by HKUST. It is based on the open source DMPTool developed by the California Digital Library (CDL) with support from the University of California Curation Center (UC3) and the Digital Curation Centre (DCC) as a shared resource for the research community. DMPTool@HKUST is hosted at HKUST.
Your personal details
In order to help identify and administer your account with the DMPTool@HKUST, we need to store your name and your HKUST email address. We may also use it to contact you to obtain feedback on your use of the tool, or to inform you of the latest developments or releases. We will not sell, rent, or trade any personal information you provide to us.
Access to and use of DMPTool@HKUST is enabled via HKUST ITSC authentication.
The information you enter into this system can be viewed by you, the HKUST members to whom you have granted access, and the HKUST Library system administrators (solely for the purpose of maintaining the service).
The Library may compile anonymized, automated, and aggregated information from plans to assess demand for data management services across disciplines, but we will not directly access, make use of, or share your content with anyone beyond HKUST without your permission.
